As you know, ZED will be releasing their sophmore offering, ‘Desperation Blues’ on May 21st, 2013. I’ve been fortunate enough to receive an advance copy, and I’m happy to report it’s ‘All killer and no filler.’ To help generate interest in their new record, ZED is making their first album available for free (digital download). Part of what is so impressive about this record is that it was never intended to be a record. ‘The Invitation’ was originally a collection of self-recorded demos for personal use. However, the recordings came out so well that the band took the recordings to an engineer who was able to clean them up a little and tweak the mix. The end result was ZED’s (unexpected) debut album, ‘The Invitation.’ You can download ‘The Invitation’ digital album by following this link: zedisded.bandcamp.com/Just click on the ‘Buy Now (name your price)’ link, enter $0 on the box, and enter your email address. You will receive a download link via email. Feel free to reblog this post, share on Facebook, etc. Enjoy! ps: If you download the digital album, please consider joining the Street Team over at zedheads.org/join/It doesn’t obligate you to anything, but we’d love to add you to our mailing list so we can keep you posted about the new album, tour dates, etc!
