Many years ago when I was heading up the Street Team for a then relatively unknown Joe Bonamassa, I travelled to Dallas, Texas for a special performance at the Majestic Theatre. After the show a number of us walked up to a small club named "Deep Ellum Blues" which was in the Deep Ellum district of East Dallas, primarily known for its arts and entertainment venues. When we walked in a 3 piece band was playing, and on guitar was a guy by the name of Andy Timmons. I'd never heard of him before that night, but I was nothing short of blown away. Needless to say I'm 100% ZEDHEAD, but I've got a love affair with guitar-based music of all genres. The following youtube video shows Andy in action, and it's one of my favorite songs (and performances) of all time. It gets better and beter with repeated listenings, too. Ladies and gentleman, I present to you Mr Andy Timmons, performing "Cry for you" from his 1994 debut album, "ear-X-tacy." TURN IT UP and let this one melt in your mouth. youtu.be/KaVVZYOvMFY
